A dashcam, taken apart

What is inside a 35-dollar-class dashcam, built from the chip datasheet and an open reference board as a 3D model you can take apart.

Built around the Allwinner V851S from its datasheet and the schematic and bill of materials of the open TinyVision board: a dashcam you can take apart in your browser.

The main board is modelled at real size, with about 100 parts. Click one to see its reference, part number, package and source. The V851S packages 64 MB of DDR2 inside the chip, so the board has no separate memory.
