Conclusions are traceable
The source of each conclusion, when it was obtained and how far it applies are all recorded, so it can be checked again later.
Assess how it fails first
Before starting, I identify where it is most likely to fail: whether the rules can be bypassed, whether an amount can be counted twice, whether old data can overwrite new. I test those first, then confirm it is usable.
Stop in time
Pushing forward is a capability; so is stopping promptly. A draft that has drifted off course, a result that fails review, a conclusion without sufficient evidence: send it back for revision, put it on hold, or end it.
